$180 for 45-53 minute sessions

Yes, but only for clients in the state of WA and aged 13+. I use the Simple Practice portal for this, and you are emailed a link to connect before the session.
Due to my own sensory sensitivities, I do require that the device you connect from be set or held on a solid surface as opposed to being handheld or on your lap. I will get extremely motion sick otherwise and it lasts for hours.

I only offer in person sessions for child therapy sessions because core parts of the approaches I use and the support I provide to kids are body-based nervous system co-regulation as well as physical sensory soothing tools that are both most effective in person (especially for Autistic, ADHD, SPD, PDA kids).
I can also provide a physical sense of safety and ability to hold limits in a way that’s very different than in teletherapy. In person sessions also allow me to provide physical play, art, and sandtray supplies which engage better with the sensory-kinesthetic systems of the brain and body, and are what kids use as the words to share their world with me as their therapist.

Child therapy sessions are 45-50 minutes depending on age and needs in session
Teen and adult sessions are always 50-53 minutes

I am not paneled with any insurance companies, but see next Q for more info

Yes! If you are ok with getting a formal diagnosis and working within other limits of insurance, I am able to provide Superbills which you can use to potentially get some or all of the session fee reimbursed from your insurance if you have Out of Network benefits.
You will need to check with your insurance company to see if you have this benefit, and how much reimbursement is. You are responsible for investigation and processing of this kind of reimbursement. Ask your insurance company what their reimbursement rate is for the 90837 CPT code, and for child therapy clients, also 90846 code for parent sessions.
.
I also have a limited number of Income Based Reduced Fee spots that are first come-first serve.
.
You can also check out Open Path Collective for therapists offering sessions between $40 and $70

I accept HSA, debit, and credit card payments, and I require at least one to be on record.

Yes, not using insurance for payment means that I’m not required to provide a diagnosis which can sometimes be related to stigma and other consequences that vary from state to state. This also means third party companies won’t have legal access to treatment records, and there are fewer restrictions on the type of services I can provide and how I document them.
That said, if you decide to use Superbills for reimbursement, a diagnosis is usually required and the insurance companies can request my records as well as further limit services reimbursed for.

Yes, I can write a brief note to the school to explain the reason for leaving school early. This means it counts as an excused absence.
